Land Stewardship
Our assessment of ecosystem resilience is based on dynamic landscape change indicators developed in partnership with TerrAdapt.org.
Biodiversity indicators help track trends in ecosystem health and environmental degradation resulting from the cumulative impacts of human activities and climate change.
Species Data
In situ biodiversity profiles for the EcoScapes study area are based on species occurrences documented by Naturalist volunteers and other contributors to the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).
Of the approximately 8,000 unique species known to occur in this region, over 530 (about 7%) are listed as threatened or at risk due to declining ecosystem health and connectivity.
